This course links the social issues in a scientific way by collecting and analyzing data from different context which later is used to construct throry. The scientific tools are applied in this discipline to establish any argument and to find a causal relationship between different social variables. The foundation of social research is based on quantitative analysis derived from statistical tools. To understand social realities, students need to apply not only qualitative data but also a rigorous quantitative method. This course helps the student to think like a social scientist - attentive to facts, probing with hypotheses, offering explanations, critical in offering and assessing arguments for conclusions.
